Please Help The Victims Affected By The Flood

Recently, Perlis was hit with really heavy rain. Being a low land area, the water levels began to rise very quickly and in a matter of 2 days, flood waters rised from knee level to chest high.

The state was in shock. People started leaving their homes and made their way to the emergency relief centres around the state. The situation was very, very bad.

Kangar submerged in water

Not even the hospital was spared

Farming tractors became public transportation for the locals

Children just waiting for the flood to reside

In the wake of the flood, nothing was spared. Even the hospitals MRI machine which cost RM 10 million was damaged beyond repair. It was a very devastating time for Perlis.

Knowing the situation in Perlis has reached a critical point, TOC answered the call to help the people in Perlis by giving monetary contribution to the Yayasan Tuanku Syed Putra, a charity foundation by Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail.

We believe that we should all play our part in helping those in need. Therefore, if there are those of you who are interested to contribute, you can do so by helping Hitz.FM in their donation drive. Details are as follows:

We are having a Collection Drive for the Flood victims in the Northern States with the help of the Selangor Red Crescent Society. It's happening next Saturday the 20th of Nov @ the Curve, Mutiara Damansara from 10am - 2pm.

- Mattresses
- Baby Clothing
- Baby Milk
- Kain Batik/Pelikat
- Usable Clothes
- Hygiene Kits/Toiletries eg: Soap, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Sanitary Pads
