Revolution R

TOC is well known and also excels in having various societies and groups all within the walls and confinements of the campus. Tan Chin Heng (Alvin) from class 0711B has started a club of his own and he named it Revolution R. Revolution R is a club dedicated to helping people who have trouble with their vehicles and need information on how to enhance their vehicle performance.

Alvin says: “It is because of my burning desire of high performance cars and also the teachings at TOC and what it has taught me about cars that drove me to open my own club and also to help others have difficulties in their vehicles”.

For those of who are interested in getting in touch with Revolution R, please contact Alvin Tan through Facebook.

Deepa-Raya Achievers Awards Night 2009

This special occasion was organized by the TOC committee together with the help of the student council. It was a mixture celebration for Deepavali, Hari Raya as well as TOC Achievers Awards Night.

Throughout the night, we were able to host and entertain the guests from the likes of TeleVAS, Lotus Team and Mad About Dodgeball Association, as well as staff from TOC, and we can proudly say that it was a night to remember.

To celebrate Deepavali, a 'Kolum' competition was held and it was open to all TOC staff to participate. All the participants tried their very best to produce the most creative 'kolum' art pieces.

The Achievers Awards has been an annual event where TOC gives recognition to students for their achievements, regardless it's in sports, academic or skills areas. On that night, there were 3 awards categories: TOC Sports Awards, Motorsports Sports Awards and TOC Skills Olympics Awards.

We have also invited 2 orphanages to join us that night. Persatuan Anak Yatim dan Ibu Tunggal Kg Medan sang their hearts out for us,
whereas Shepherd’s Home children did a very nice dance routine.
We also a performance of our own and it was out of this world as it was a combination of 2 cultures together , namely rapping and malay culture.
I can proudly say that this night was a great success and the next one is going to be even better.
